For 75 Years ELYC has stood at its current site located just inside the Port of East London. This club has been home to many highly competitive events over the years, including but definitely not limited to the Vasco da Gama Ocean Race finish line, and the 2006 Dart 18 World Championships! It has played home to the NGO Waves for Change (https://waves-for-change.org/) for the last 6 years and has built strong relationships with the Border Canoe Club, Border Inflatable Club, East London Open Water Swimmers, Kwelera ski boat club and our sister club Buffalo River Yacht Club. The club has performed water safety services for events like Iron Man, World Surfing tours among many others.
